The newly developed composite guard range uses our new process. This means that they are much lighter than the original at only 270g for the Rotax and 230g for the X30 IAME version. They retain their rigidity and do not wobble like plastic guards, due to the honeycomb core on the mounting side. The new model is much stronger and has a glossy surface inside and out for ease of cleaning.
Two types of cut are available. One with a trimmed off front for OK, X30 and IAME Gazelle engines, and a longer version for Rotax Max and other engines that require that the clutch are covered. It is now also cut to suit other makes of OEM bracket kit without trimming.
When used with the full Tillett bracket fitting kit the mid point is adjustable to allow the sprocket to run centrally in the guard. The new guards have been made wider to avoid contact with long sprocket bolts when wide plastic protectors are used.
Guards are not supplied with a mounting kit as standard. If needed please add a full kit from below or the half kit containing the special spare bolts that fit in the guard.
